Precautions for disassembly and assembly of Mercedes-Benz composite brake discs

For composite brake discs, improper operation will cause partial wear of the brake discs in the later stage and trembling when stepping on the brakes. To sum up, the following points need to be noted:

1. Be careful when installing after removing the tire. It is strictly forbidden to use air cannons during installation
2. When installing the tire, it needs to be tightened diagonally in three stages. Before the tire falls to the ground, tighten it diagonally by hand with a wrench, then gently land the tire and tighten it with a torque of 75NM. Finally, the tire falls to the ground completely and tightens it with the final torque. Because the torque of each car is different, most models are 130NM or 150NM
3. When carrying the brake disc, be careful. If the brake disc accidentally falls from a height of 0.5 meters, it is not allowed to be used again
4. When removing the brake disc, it is forbidden to use violent disassembly, such as hitting it with a hammer. Generally, this type of brake disc will not rust with the shaft head
5. When installing a new brake disc, the surface coating is not allowed to be removed
6. After removing the tire, it is not allowed to steer by bending the brake disc
7. When applying the shaft head lubricant, it can only be applied to the shaft head, and it is not allowed to be applied to the position between the brake disc or the steel ring
